AFSA Chairman Goshgar Tahmazli visits Camal LTD production facility

Goshgar Tahmazli, Chairman of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AFSA), reviewed the operations of Camal LTD. During the visit, the Chairman toured the company's production and processing areas, the laboratory department and its testing capabilities. The storage and transportation stages of finished goods — every link in the cold chain — were also inspected. The meeting covered the plant's production capacity, the work carried out to ensure food safety, and the measures being taken to bring products to international markets. It was noted that the company manufactures a wide range of products using modern standards and technologies, with food safety and quality control systems applied throughout the production process. The visit highlighted the importance of meeting food safety requirements, improving production processes and expanding export potential. Camal LTD has operated in Azerbaijan's ice cream and frozen food sector since 1998. Its Iceland trademark is present across the country's major retail chains. Products are currently exported to Israel, Turkmenistan, Georgia, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan. The company develops both its own manufacturing and its import and distribution operations.
